Evelyn Barrad Zerr

Evelyn Barrad Zerr (Williams), 71, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at her home. Memorial services will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Urbandale American Legion Post 663, 6805 Douglas Ave. Urbandale, IA.

Evelyn was born May 4, 1939 to Rose (Ochokoff) and Martin Barrad in Chicago, Il. She was grateful for having shared her life with her husband Edgar, her daughter Allison (Jim) Harpold, her brother Bernie (Sheila), her niece Natalie (Annie), her nephew Brian (Peggy), her great niece Kelcey, and her great nephew Brody.

She enjoyed being a model, Escrow Officer, and owner/operator of her own recording studio. Evelyn was active in Veterans Association Auxiliary, American Legion Post 663, FRA unit 70, VFW 8879.

She spent her free time delighting in activities such as deep sea fishing, shopping for antiques and going to Broadway shows.

Evelyn was always surrounded by family and friends who loved her and brought warmth to her heart as she did theirs. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
