Deloris Alexander 75, died April 28, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, May 2, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial following at Laurel Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Deloris was born September 19, 1934 in Des Moines to Kathryn and John Oertwig. She met Lowell Alexander in 1974 and together shared 34 years of marriage until his passing in January. She loved fishing, boating, traveling and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Leanne Howell, Kimberly (Richard) Williamson, Goldine (Richard) Bainter, Irene Sparks, Lori (Paul) Yarges; step children, Dennis (Maureen) Alexander and Sheryl (Edwin) Bartholomew; sister, Ruth Vanderlinden; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Sorry for the loss of your mother.. she was the sweetest and loving even caring woman we ever met in this lifetime. I will greatly miss seeing her smile each year when she comes to get her taxes done but i know i will see her again someday in heaven waiting with her paperwork for me.. You all are going to miss her greatly i know if you need anything Goldine just call me my numbers is going to be the same.. Love Alberta and Family
