Marla Dene Edwards

Marla Dene Edwards, 80, passed away April 25, 2010 at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton, IA. Marla was born June 9, 1929, near Latimer, IA to Glenn and Frieda (Schloemer) Edwards. A resident of Chariton, IA for the past 8 years, she is survived by her nieces, Jeannie Davis of Chariton, IA, Cheryl Schoonover of St. Paul, MN, Vicki Oderkirk of Ormand Beach, FL; and great-nephew, Justin Davis, who would always light up her eyes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Davolt of West Des Moines; and brothers, Don Edwards and Gordon Edwards of Denver, CO.

No services are planned at this time. Donations, in Marla’s name, may be made to Lucas County Pet Shelter.
