David Adney

David Adney, 46, died unexpectedly April 22, 2010.

David was born July 30, 1963 in Des Moines. He was a truck driver. David enjoyed fishing, camping, cookouts and spending time with his family. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Dallas Cowboy fan.

David is survived by his wife of 17 years, Julie; children, Melissa (Levi) Rench and David (Amber) Adney; grandchildren, Brylei and Kaleb; very special friend, Larry Graspy; siblings, Carla Hale, Cindy Newton, Carol Butler, Jeff Adney, Sue Barker, Helen Molle, Jeff Barker, Chuck Barker and Louise Barker; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Adney, biological father, Vern Barker; sister, Nancy Barker and his brother, Michael Adney.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
