Cherrel Pilcher, 72, passed from this life to spend eternity with her Lord on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born on July 12, 1937 to Dan and Pauline Buffington in Des Moines. She was a very generous and giving person. Cherrel had a very strong faith in the Lord.
Cherrel is survived by her husband, Fred C. Pilcher; her children, Fred Jr. (Jenni), Ted (Lori) and Dan; her grandchildren, Amber, Isaac, Caleb, Geena, Madisen, and Mackenzie; great-grandson, Myles; sister, Janet Moses; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at New Hope Assembly of God, 6800 Townsend Ave., Urbandale, burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 5-8 p.m., Thursday at the church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston or New Hope Assembly of God in loving memory of Cherrel.
