Larry La Belle, 61 died Saturday, April 17, 2010 from complications of heart ailment. A celebration of his life will be from 4-7 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
Larry worked for Harmon Glass for several years and was an avid Nascar fan, golfer and enjoyed cheering on his Minnesota Vikings with a can of Bud.
He is survived by his mother, Muriel LaBelle of Madison, MN; children, Jim La Belle of Orion, IL, Sherri (Jason) Garrels and Lori (Rich) Wright both of Des Moines; siblings, Joseph (Mavis) La Belle Jr., Patricia (Bill) Bauler, Carol La Belle, Dianne (Mike) Harpster, Lee (Terry) La Belle, Kristi (Dan) Austin and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in honor of Larry.

Sorry to here of the loss of Larry, I haven't seen him in many years but when he was in Grand Forks, ND we were good freinds. I'm sure he will be missed by many down there and remembered by many up here in ND. Our thoghts are with the family.

Dear Sherri, Lori and Jim, Iam sooooo shocked and saddened to hear of your Dads passing. Iam totally at a loss for words . He was truly a VERY wonderful, special , kind , helping friend. Iam so sorry for All of you at this so very difficult time. Your dad as you all know was one of OUR EVYS familys FAVORITE !!!!!! There is just to many kind things to mention about him. He was sooo loved by all !!!!! He was always sooo proud of all you kids and grandkids. He would just light up like a Christmas tree when he would talk about you all. Its so hard to understand WHY ??? The only thing i can think of is that he is where he truly wanted to be, with your mom. I just want you all to know that my thoughts are with each and every one of you. You guys ALL were like family. I am so sorry for your loss. With your moms passing just over a year ago, it has been a very difficult time. We must take solace in the fact that your dad is finally where he always wanted to be, with mom. I'm sure they are both very happy to be together again.
