Dorothy Tate, 93, passed away April 7, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Norma Butts, Steven Tate and Terri Fisher of Des Moines and Gracianna Pearl, Jeanette Humphrey-Lowery and Veronica Haywood of Davenport; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at Maple St. Baptist Church, 1552 Maple St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery.

Dear Family,
I was saddened to hear that my Aunt Dorothy passed away. However, I know that she has gone from a "bitter" place to a "better" place. I thank God for the precious memories and the special times that our families shared together. May God comfort you in this time of bereavement.
