Davier “Monkey” Jones, 11, passed away at his home April 6, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church, 5723 Franklin Avenue.
Davier was born January 8, 1999 in Des Moines. He enjoyed football, basketball, riding bikes, Spongebob and icarly. Davier aka “Boss” will be remembered as a loving, caring and easy going boy who knew how to touch people’s hearts.
He is survived by his mother, Laura Markle-Freeman; step-father, Eriq Freeman; brothers, Da’Laurence and Damier Jones; grandparents, Dan and Pam Markle; grandmother, Gloria Cisneros; father, David Jones; and many other extended relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

To the family of Davier Monkey Jones, we, the pastor, associate ministers, and the entire church family express to you our deepest sympathy in the passing of your loved one. Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight.....must leave us and the world we know without their radiant light. But we know that like a candle, their lovely light will shine, to brighten up another place, more perfect.. more divine. And in the realm of heaven, where they shine so warm and bright, our loved ones live forevermore in Gods eternal light. Keeping you close in thought and prayer at this difficult time, and trusting that the God of all comfort and hope will be the answer to your every present need.
