Norma Tidball

Norma Jean Tidball, 79, died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital from respiratory failure. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Norma was born April 6, 1927 to Willard and Violet Carico in Creston. She married Samuel Tidball in September 1945 and enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother her entire life.
Norma is survived by her children, David (Sandee) Tidball, Duke (Cindy) Tidball, Michael Tidball, Pam (Dan) Lewis, and Chris (Russ) Wilkins; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul and Glen (Juanita) Carico; sisters, Edith Somers, Wilma (Vern) West, and Mona (Vaughn) Robertson; sister-in-law, Dode Anderson of Arkansas; and many nieces; nephews; and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; parents; brothers, Ralph, Orville, and Chuck Carico; and sisters, Mary Jones, Colleen Rice, and Lena Roberts. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
