Service Details
Robert “Bob” Freel, 74, passed away April 1, 2010. Per his request his body has been cremated and a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa.
Bob helped start the Harbor of Hope.
He is survived by four sisters, five brothers and three children.

I am from Boone...and have known Bob for many years having sat with him at the
Boone Speedway on Saturday nights...and on occasion over the years at the Des Moines races and at other tracks as well. I know that he has had quite a seige with various times in the hospital over the last few years. I was sorry to hear that he has passed away. He was a very likeable person and it was fun to see the kids that he would bring with him at times to the races to give them a fun night out doing something different. May God give him a great seat on the front row at the Big Race Upstairs.
