Service Details
David L. Peterson, 55, died March 30, 2010 at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at Evangelical Covenant Church, 2625 Hubbell Ave., with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Boone. Visitation will occur 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
David was born February 8, 1955 to Archie and Emma Peterson in Boone. He was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church. David was known for crocheting scarves for the Youth Homes of America in Johnston and enjoyed collecting Christmas gifts for them all year around.
David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lorraine; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Peterson of Ogden, Tom (Shelley) Peterson of Perry, and Scott Peterson of Boone; and many niece, nephews, and beloved church friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

We are sending our deepest sympathy to David's family. We were classmates of David's Ogden High school class of 73, we also rode the same school bus for a time. What a testament to marriage having been married for 34 years. that doesn't happen these days. his generosity toward the Youth in your area will be greatly missed. May you find peace of heart in the coming days as you cope with his passing. May God Bless you all.
