Annette Stephens

Annette Johnson Stephens, 81, of Carlisle, passed away at Taylor House on Saturday, February 24, 2007 after a year long battle with COPD.
Annette was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 7, 1925 to Hazel and LeRoy Johnson. She was a 1944 graduate of East High School and was retired from CDS-Communications Data Services, Inc.
Annette is survived by her daughters, Suzette (Ed) Jensen and Celeste Comito, of Des Moines; her sister, Flora Miller, of West Des Moines; and four grandchildren, Laurel (Lance) Farrell, Robyn Bartholomew, Janel (Brian) Whitlatch and Corey (Alyssa) Comito; seven great-grandchildren and her loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister, her brother and her son, Victor.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Taylor House Hospice or East High School Alumni Foundation.
