Ralph Hyde

Ralph Hyde, 83, passed away March 28, 2010 at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Avon Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ralph was born in Manchester, Iowa, and retired from Warren Transport as an over the road truck driver.

He is survived by his six sons, Rocky and Randy Barnes, Jon, Jerry (Kate), Jerad and Jim (Vangi) Hyde; a daughter, Tonya Mills; 2 brothers, Dexter and Cleo Hyde; 26 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda and two daughters, Debra Lynch and Dixie Clark.
