Pearl Marie Fisher

Pearl Marie Fisher, 84, went home to be with her Lord Friday, March 26, 2010.

Pearl was born on January 5, 1926 to Reuben and Elsie Lore. She attended Clarksville High School and Open Bible Institute in Des Moines. She was married to Robert Fisher on September 6, 1947. They raised two children in Ankeny, IA.

Pearl was a member of Saylorville Baptist Church and Capital City Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, sewing, exercising, quilting and having a sparkling clean home.

Pearl is survived by her son, Robert (Diane) Fisher and daughter, Marie (Gary) Robbins; sisters, Irene Fisher, Maxine “Lelia” Norton and Vi Kearbey; grandchildren, Tonda, Lynnette, Erin, Emily, Nathan and Noah; great-grandchildren, Anjel, Chase, Blake, Dessa, Taelyn, Graciela, Abagail, Zachary, Hanna and Levi. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Fisher; a stillborn son, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
