Ray "Buddy" Hodson

Ray “Buddy” Hodson, Jr., 64, was born December 15, 1945 in Osceola, Iowa, the son of Ray Sr. and Beulah (Lugar) Hodson. He passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Mercy West Medical Center.

Buddy was a proud member of the Graphic Communications Union Local 157-M for 36 years and had worked for Downey Printing Inc. as a Senior Printer Pressman. His passions were spending time at his property at Sun Valley Lake and fishing.

Buddy is survived by his sister, Dianne (Michael) Norris; 1 niece; 1 nephew and special relatives, Jim and Terri Walter, Amy and Nick Wetzel, Jim Fudge, Tammi, Jessica and Ryan Schachte, Boyd and Cleo Fudge, Joan and Elmer Walston and Karlene and Gary Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has occurred and memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Hospital in loving memory of Buddy. Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
