There are times when the right words just don't exist, times when feelings are to deep to express, but at this tragic time may it bring you some peace and comfort to know that caring thoughts are with you and your family everyday. My deepest expressions of sympathy, Doug was one of the few people I've met in my life that was good people through and through, a real stand up guy.
May peace be with you and family.

I just wanted to share a few of the memories about Doug, I worked with him at Hy-vee Care. The one thing that stands out the most to me was his smile an unconditional love for his children he always talked about them with a big smile on his face I remember him bringing them into work showing them off to everyone so proud. He was an amazing guy to work with so willing to help in every way possible, there was never a time I couldn't ask Doug for help and he would jump at the chance, he was a positive guy all around. I am truly sorry for your loss and your family is in my thoughts and prayers. he will be missed and I know he is looking down on you guy's and will be forever your gaurdian angel, take care and god bless.

Jenny & family,
I'm so, so sorry. You are in my thoughts & prayers. If I can do anything, please let me know...not just now, but in 6 months or a year. I'll always remember Doug's big smile. Keep your beautiful smile, but stop & cry when you need too, it's part of the process.
Take care of you and the kids and everything will work out.
