Luellen “Lou” Freeman, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Lou is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Carey and Linda (Jerry) Bitting; son, Charles (Janis) Freeman Jr.; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Freeman, Sr.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola in loving memory of Lou.

I was sadden to hear of Lou's death. She was a very special person. My prayers go out to you and the family.

I will miss Lou so much, she was a very special lady. I enjoyed seeing her
when she came to the doctor, I always teased her I liked to see her but was
sad that she was not feeling well. We will miss you!!
