Marian Gibson

Marian Gibson, 95, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 19th at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial following at Laurel Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. vigil at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.

Marian was born in Des Moines on June 5, 1914 to McCall and Anna Berhow. She retired from Meredith Publishing in 1983.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Karen Thompson and her two granddaughters, Rebecca Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry and her sister, Mildred Brown.
