Service Details
Ruth Anna Chavez, 69, died Saturday, March 13, 2010. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ruth is survived by her husband Phil Chavez of IA; children Kevin Osborn of VA, Shelley Kulp of MO, Samantha Connair of IA, and Karen Nyberg of FL; stepchildren Shelly Kaye Pierce and Phillip Chavez; siblings Marie Johnson of NE, Betty Johns of IA, Don Pike of TX; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Leona Pike and brothers Pete and Robert Pike.

Kevin and family,
Sorry to hear of your moms passing. Keep all those good memories in your heart and remember her always. We will all see her again someday. I know I never knew her but I also have lost my mom,so I know how hard it is. Who knows maybe they will meet in heaven. Take care and know I am thinking about you today and always.
