Sheri Lincoln, 52, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at her home in Arizona City, Arizona. She was born on February 28, 1958 to Sharon and Robert Williams in Des Moines.
Sheri retired from Qwest after 30 years. She was a resident of Altoona all of her life until moving to Arizona City, AZ two years ago. Sheri graduated from Saydel High School.
Sheri is survived by her friend, Kathi Ball of AZ; Gary Lincoln of Altoona; sons, Kyle (Kim) Lincoln of CO, Kacey (Sierra) Lincoln of Altoona; daughter, Chelsea (Anthony) Medina of NC; step-daughters, Angie (Chris) Martinez of Runnells, and Chrystal (Carl) Burton of Des Moines; six grandchildren, Kale Lincoln, Alec and Aaron Martinez, Carl Jr and Mark Burton, Haylee Lincoln; mother, Sharon Raitt; brother, Chuck (Debbie) Ellsworth; father, Robert Williams; nieces, nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward Ellsworth; grandmothers, Lola (Gee Gee) Acela and Alice Williams; aunt, Paddy Jacobs.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 19 at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lincoln family in loving memory of Sheri.

Oh lord lady I don't know where to start. I just talked to you a little less than two weeks ago, and you lifted my spirits on my upcoming issues. You always seemed to have a way to understand my insanely crazy self and I will forever love that about you.
Have to say best memory that I shared with you was Vegas. We both thought my mom would never last..hahaha she showed us.
Through all of this I know you wouldnt want tears, sorrow, pain or suffering, so I figured since I cant make it back the Des Moines, I will have a nice cold bud light in remberance of you mama!
Luv you deerly, and hope your family and dearest friends, are doing ok.

Dear Gary, Kyle, Kacey, Chelsea ,Chrystal, Lola & Mark & Connor,and to all Sheri`s family and friends,
I enjoyed Sheri`s company and shared many,many fun stories with her over the 20 plus years when I did her hair. I am shocked today as I read about her passing in the newspaper.
I know she loved her family so much as we talked about them as her children were growing up. I also had the pleasure of doing their haircuts. She often talked of Lola & Mark & Conner, as that is how I came to know Sheri. I have never met her friends, but I know she also loved them and told me about many fun times going out and to the yearly party at the farm. She would come to the salon on her motorcycle with her hair wind blown and sun bleached and I would give her a new do. We would talk and laugh for a couple hours. I will miss her visits and her laugh and think of her fun loving spirit and thoughtfulness and always being there helping others. My thought and prayers are with her family and friends.

Lincoln family and all the others that loved Sheri,
I have so many good memories of Sher, playing softball with her and Gary, our kids playing together driving us crazy, nights at the racetrack, days of shopping and in 93 sandbagging !!! I will always cherish those times that we had, the light she brought with her where ever she sent and that infectious laugh !!!

Sheri Lincoln was more like an aunt to me more than a cousin.you were there when Jake died and now were here for you.i still cant belove that u r gone.I would give anything to bring u back but we all have to die sometime.i will always remember the way you laughed and smiled and used to call me Noah man.through all the memories you brought you'll be deeply missed and loved through the years to come.
