William Crane

William Crane., 88, passed away March 7, 2010 at home. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Sunset Cemetery.

William was born April 14, 1921 in Hamilton, Iowa, to Loren and Julia Crane. He retired from the Meredith Publishing Company in 1978 and was a WWII Army veteran.

He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Rhonda) Crane; step-daughter, Janet Belieu; grandsons, Steven, Dennis and Michael Belieu, David Martin; granddaughters, Jennifer Selby and Cheryl Cloud; 15 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; nieces, Judy Crane and Jeannie Dale; and a nephew Johnny Crane.


William was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dorothy “Dot” Crane; brother, Jack Crane; stepson, Barney Roth and son in law Harold Belieu.
