Betty Huddleson, 76, passed away at her son’s home Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
Betty was born January 16, 1934. She retired from Meredith Corporation after 35 years of faithful service. Betty enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time at Prairie Meadows. Above all else, she loved playing BINGO.
Betty is survived by her sons, Terry Huddleson, Mike (Sis) Huddleson and Danny Huddleson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) Smith, Dannelle (Steve) Dalhauser, Missy, Brandon, Josh, Robert, Katie, Bradley and Braden Huddleson; five great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Howard; brother, Robert “Sonny” (Lois) Darnall; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; parents; brother, William Darnall; and sister, Bonnie Darnall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Health Hospice.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Betty. She was a wonderful woman and a wonderful Aunt. She will be missed so much. She could always make me laugh. The one thing I remember about Aunt Betty is she loved her family very much and she offered a helping hand in need. She loved playing bingo and going to the boat in Osceola when she came down to visit on the 4th of July. And she always seemed to win. I am sorry that I can't come to the funeral but I will be there in spirit. My thoughts and prayer go out to the family. With all my love Fonda
