Peter Henry Miller, Jr.

Peter Henry Miller, Jr., 78, passed away March 5, 2010 at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue, Des Moines, with cremation following the mass. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.

Peter was born November 18, 1931 in Wonewoc, Wisconsin the son of Leo and Ruth (Marsh) Miller.

He is survived by his son, Randy (Kristi) Miller of Norwalk; daughters, Stacy Miller of Des Moines and Paula Miller of Des Moines; ex-wife Dolores Miller of Des Moines; friend Kathy Lundeen of Des Moines; sisters, Romaine Stackman of Rock Springs, WI, Claudine Kaukl of Richland Center, WI and Liz Morton of WI and three grandchildren; Stefan Castaneda, Sean Miller and Joel Miller.
