JoAnn LeMar

Jo Ann LeMar, 75, passed away March 4, 2010 at the Altoona Nursing Home.

Jo Ann was born May 23, 1934 in Des Moines to Jacob and Mae (Fletcher) Williams. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church. She enjoyed making crafts and sewing.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Rich) LeMar-Swiss, Barb LeMar and Linda (Kevin) Mittag; sister, Colleen Cunningham; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifton LeMar, Jr.; daughter, Susie Ellis; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2611 Easton Blvd. followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
