Isabell F. Bass, 72, was born March 6, 1937 at home in Polk City, the daughter of Floyd and Lily (Warden) Miller. She passed away peacefully Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her home.
Isabell is survived by her brother, Floyd Miller; sister, Clara Carton; children, Bill (Chris) Bass, Lorna Thomas and Leona Bass; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Bass and her siblings, Anna Mary Dunn, Ben Miller and Don Miller.
Funeral Services will be at 12 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Street, with burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Polk City. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Isabell.

We were saddened to read about the passing of Dear Isabelle. she was a friend to all. We so enjoyed visiting with her at any occasion. A very lovely lady and we were fortunate to have known her. She will be truly missed. Our sympathies to all of her family and friends. God bless you all.
