We went to the gravesite yesterday and it brought back many memories. Jim was my children's stepdad for Years. It is so hard to be an ex and people feeling that we do not have as much right to grieve over Jim's death. We loved him too. Dick, the kids and I still love you. Faye my thoughts are w/you too and I would love to hear from you. With Saddness, Amber

Jim worked with my husband and whenever I went into the office he always had a big smile and a hug for me! I'd heard he liked oatmeal raisin cookies so I had made him several batches in recent months. I loved making them for him and hope he enjoyed them! I will miss his hugs and his big, happy smile and know in my heart he is at peace with an eternal smile! My prayers are with his family.

I work with Jim at Loffredos. Jim's door was always open to whatever you needed. He was a very didicated worker and YES always has that big cheesy smile when he would say Good Morning to me!! Jim will truly be missed.

I knew Jim for a short time as I was secretary at Park Trail when he moved in last September. He and I had many conversations regardiing the placement of his satellite dish and other community requests. He did attend our annual meeting in October and was introduced to all homeowners who were present at the meeting.
Jim always had a smile when I would see him outside of his unit with the dog. I feel bad that I did not get to know him better, but the winter has been brutal as far as outside walking was concerned.
My sympathies are extended to the family and to Faye.
Please see that Faye receives the plant that I sent in Jim's memory.
If I can be of any help during this time, please let me know. I did move last week to another townhome at River Oaks, but would be available if there are questions regarding Park Trail.

Jim took me under his wing twelve years ago and began teaching me the business of buying produce. He was dedicated, intense, humorous and had a well rounded vocabulary. Jim knew all the words but only he could put them in such a way that left no doubt about the way he felt. Since his passing, I feel I've lost a part of myself. God be with you brother.

My thoughts & prayers are with Jim's family and Faye. Jim was a wonderful person with a BIG heart. Jim trained me to buy Retail for Omaha a few years back, so Jim and I had a chance to work closely together. I remember for several months after my training in DSM was finished, he would call me up everyday to see how I was doing, if I needed anything..this meant a lot to me because even though I left DSM to come back to Omaha, he wanted to make sure that I understood what he had taught me. And, even though I was miles away it goes to show, that just because someone doesn't see someone on a daily basis, you still can grow and have a bond together. Jim touched a lot of lives, far and near and he will be missed greatly, but he will live on in our hearts forever! Your Friend, Tina Epperson

Jim Marts was a wonderful person. In my book the best! I have known Jim for over 20 years and have been very blessed to have been lucky enough to have him for a friend. He was always so helpful and encouraging to me over the years. And we had a lot of fun working together in the produce world. It made for some very good memories. I will miss him very much!!
My condolences to his family and to all that knew him and loved him as I did. He was a great man!
