Kenneth “Kenny” Rice, 78, passed away February 25, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Lee Town Assembly.
Kenny was born December 30, 1931 in Novinger, MO to David and Lucy Rice. He was an Army veteran. Kenny worked for Iowa Roofing for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a great work ethic and sense of humor. Kenny was a simple man, a good father and a good provider.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wilma; sons, Kenneth “Wayne” (Mona), Bill (Becky), Steve (Diane), David, Glenn (Tammy) and Tom (Traci); siblings, Dorothy, Sue, Virginia and Don “Butch; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and family friend, Betty Cliff. He was preceded in death by his parents.

I Am So Sorry For Your Loss, I remember the many laughs we shared as I was growing up around your house ,I will always keep them close to my heart ! again I Am SO Sorry !!! I will keep your family in my prayers!

To the family of "GRANDPA", I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Grandpa, He is and was loved by many.there was not a better man in the world I worked with him at Ketecho and he in no time became my favorite, and was my grandpa. I will always cherrish the time spent with him.and all the reeses pieces. we shared. Wilma, Tonya & Lisa my heart goes out to you, your all in my prayers. love always Missy
