To Al's family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My father spoke often of Al, and I am grateful for the friendship they shared. It made all the difference in the world to my father. You are in my prayers.

Max and family, Just opened the morning paper. So sorry to read about Alfred. He was always a fun guy to talk to. He had great stories to share with me about the 'old days' with my dad. Was glad he was so ornery. I am going to make a supreme attempt to come to his visitation tonight. I just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you all today.
