Doris D. Funderburk

Doris D. Funderburk, 80, passed away February 22, 2010 at Bright Kavanagh House. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Doris was born August 21, 1929 in Battle Creek, IA to Viggo and Grace Brock. She was an x-ray technician for Dr. Hornberger for many years before her retirement in 1992. Doris spent the last eight years as a resident of the Carlisle Care Center. She loved to travel and square dance with her husband and had a true appreciation for nature.

Doris is survived by her husband of 44 years, James; daughters, Jayne (Fred) Grant, Jeri (Marshall) Dedrick and Jana (Jerry) Conner; brother, Basil (Pat) Brock; sister-in-law, Edith Brock; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob.
