Jessica Anne Schlotterbeck, 23, passed away peacefully February 19, 2010 after a life long battle with cystic fibrosis. She leaves behind her mother Lynda Schlotterbeck; father, Paul (Patty) Schlotterbeck; brother, Mike Allen; sisters, Jodie Schlotterbeck (Donovan), Tracie (Dan) Johnston; grandparents, Bill and Virginia Schlotterbeck; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 24th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in loving memory of Jessica Schlotterbeck.

I am a friend of Jessica's Grandmother and Grandfather. I know she will be missed. Their storiess of Jessica's courage in fighting her disease was very meaningful for me.

We are so sorry for your loss. I first met Jessica when she was a waitress at Coriglianos. I was glad to see her working anytime we visited the restaurant. When she told me she wanted to become a CMA, I hoped I would have a position open at our office when she was finished. The timing was right and we were lucky to have her at IDEC for a couple of years. She was so upbeat and friendly to our patients and has been missed.

I worked with Jessica at Iowa Diabetes and Endocrinology...she was such a joy to work with. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and nothing ever seem to get her down...not even her cystic fibrosis...
She is in a happier place now and pain free...
May the Grace of God be with you all as you go thru the sorrow of losing Jess...may the sweet memories of her beautiful smile, kind laughter and gentle heart fill your own hearts to help ease the pain.
