Beverlee E. Russo

Beverlee Elaine Russo, 75, passed away on February 16, 2010 at the Kavanagh Hospice House on 56th Street. She was born September 21, 1934 to Russell Ambrose Stein and Lucielle Stein in Des Moines.

She is survived by her daughters, Antonette “Toni” (Bill) Benvenuti, Kathleen (Myles) Taylor, and Judy (Jeff) Hill, all of Des Moines; sister, Susie VanNote; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many other friends and loved ones.

Beverlee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Russo, her parents, and brother, Russell “Bud” Stein.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Vigil services will start at 6 p.m. on Saturday also at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Beverlee.
