Deacon Julius Clarence Warren

Deacon Julius C. Warren, 89, passed away October 30, 2006 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Trinity Temple Church of God In Christ, 3925 40th St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Deacon Warren was born September 1, 1917 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He served in the Army during WWII. Deacon Warren retired from Armstrong Tire & Rubber. He was a member of Trinity Temple Church of God In Christ.
Deacon Warren is survived by his loving son, Pastor Roland (Laura) Warren of Des Moines and his beloved daughter, Bessie (George) Price also of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, daughter, Merma, son, Julius, Jr., a sister and a brother.
