Barbara Newby

Barbara Newby, 76, went home to be with the Lord after a short illness in Sarasota, FL on Sunday, February 18, 2007. She was born on August 1, 1930 in Norwalk, IA to William and Helen Newby. Barbara resided in the Runnells and Adelphi area until 1995 when she moved to Venice, FL.
Barbara had a talent for needlework and crafts. She made many friends at the Loveland Center.
She will be dearly missed by her three brothers, Bill and his wife, Helen of Des Moines, Don and his wife, Irene of Bondurant and Martin and his wife, Lorie of Sarasota, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home with burial at Lowman Cemetery near Runnells, IA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loveland Center.
