His laugh was infectious, his smile genuine, and his heart as big as it gets! He lived a very colorful life and I always enjoyed his stories and insight. He was a beautful man! It was my pleasure to know him and to call him friend! Gene...you will be forever missed and I hope that you're enjoying your view from Heaven! Much love and a big hug from me to you!

To the Family,
I will surely miss him. His little nicknames for everyone and great laugh. He was the most unjudgemental person I know. He accepted everyone for who they were. I will miss going to the fair and sharing a pork chop on a stick... that was also one of his great qualities his sharing and caring about everyone.
Much love to all;
Janet Williamson

So sorry to hear about Gene. He was a very kind, generous man who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He and I became good friends during his residence in Bethany, MO. We all enjoyed listening to his stories and past experiences and he always made everyone feel welcome no matter where he was. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but he will never be forgotten. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
