Jacqueline Schories

Jacqueline "Jackie" Schories passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. in Des Moines, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Jackie was born May 9, 1947 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Daniel and Margaret Guffey. She worked at the Des Moines Club as a salad maker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her many nieces and nephews.

Jackie is survived by her sisters, Mary Lynch and Mildred Conn; brother, William Guffey; 17 nieces and nephews; and 3 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daniel Guffey, Jr.; and sister, Margaret Kinkennon.
