Lawrence A. Seuferer

Lawrence Seuferer, 92, died on January 15, 2010. Lawrence was born on October 27, 1917 to Henry and Mary Seuferer in Lacona, Iowa. He was raised on a farm with his eight siblings - Grace, Irene, Mildred, Florence, Edward, William, Jeff and Johnny.

He served in the Air Force during WWII for 7 years in the Military Police. Lawrence retired from Firestone.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; son Robert (Kathy) McMains; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines - visitation on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, funeral service on Tuesday, January 19 at 1:00 pm.
