I worked with Laura for Partners In Health--she was an amazing person. Everyone loved her and depended on for all sorts of assistance. She didn't have a selfish bone in her body and was always there to help someone grow and succeed. She will truly be missed. My thoughts are with your entire family--please realize there are several people praying and grieving with you.

May God be with you during this difficult time. I worked for Laura at WDM from 2000-2007 and remained in regular contact with her. There was never a better manager to work for and because of that, I had let her know I desperately wanted to come back to work for her. She was fair (agreed that we ALL had issues!), expected high standards of work from everyone, yet had a dry sense of humor that cracked everyone up. It is obvious everyone who had the privilege of knowing Laura was touched in some way. Even though she kept work and her personal life completely separate from each other, I could tell family was very important to her through the support she gave her husband and care for her parents, in-laws, and extended family. She talked fondly of her grandchildren and I know she will be looking over them and all of us from heaven. We often shared our Catholic beliefs and traditions and I truly believe she is in the arms of our Lord at this time. I know few words are of comfort at this time, but I pray that time will heal the hurt you all feel.

To the family of Laura Wharff - I can only imagine the horrific emptiness you are feeling. Laura truly was an inspriation and wonderful mentor. She was always willing to lend an ear and offer assistance for any questions we may have had. She will be greatly missed by the PIH Management Team, and I know I will never forget her. My prayers go out to you all and know that Laura was admired and respected by all.

I'm a co-worker of Laura's from one of the PIH clinics.
Words can not begin to express my feelings. I know what I'm feeling and I can not imagine what you as her family are going through.
Laura was a HUGE part of everyones lives at all of our clinics. The loss we feel and will continue to feel for along time is tremdous.
Laura was one of a kind. She could ALWAYS put a smile on my face. Through all this pain, I'm still smiling when I think of all the little quick witted comments she would make. I feel truly blessed to have known her.
You are all my my constant thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Laura Wharff-She was a wonderful Manager and a very caring person to all she knew. You could always go to her if you needed a person to listen to you about anything. She was like a 2nd mother to me and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all the family members and will be in my prayers always. Laura was loved very much by all.
