Lori L. Jordan

Lori L. T. Jordan, 48, left this earth to be with her loved ones in heaven on January 14, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.

Lori was born April 25, 1961 in Des Moines. She enjoyed flower gardening, photography and reading. Lori was an excellent homemaker, wife and mother and her family will also remember her as the “Queen of Crafts”.

Lori is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters, Nichole, Ashley and Melissa; father, Jack (Karen) Judge; mother, Dorothy Thompson; sisters, Kim (Tom) Grove and Tracey (Rick) Milbrandt; brother, Mark Judge; step-brother, Scott (Dena) Denning; step-sister, Pam Denning; mother-in-law, Barbara (Ventor) Ross; brother and sister-in-laws, James and Michael Jordan, Debra and Fred Myers, Ann and Jeff Lusk, Carla and Kenny Easton. Lori is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her nephews Justin and Zachary Jordan and Josh Daye. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Alice (Heyland) Judge, Henry Thornton and Edna (Brink) Fosaaen.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League or the Special Olympics of Iowa.
