Jess Lee Bilbrey

Jesse Lee Bilbrey, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery near Winterset. No visitation is planned.

Jesse was born October 11, 1928 in St. John, Kansas to Jennings and Elizabeth Bilbrey. He retired from the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a Car Inspector. Jesse loved spending time with his family.

Jesse is survived by his children, Larry (Alberta) Bilbrey, Gary (Ginny) Bilbrey and Linda Thoren; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
