PAULINE & FAMILY:
IT HAS BEEN CLOSE TO FORTY YEARS SINCE OUR PATHS FIRST CROSSED. I TOOK
FLYING LESSONS FROM BOB, BACK WHEN ANKENY STILL HAD THE OLD DIRT STRIP. I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF THOSE TIMES, AND KNOWING PAULINE AND THE MILLER KIDS (TERI MUST HAVE BEEN ONLY 5 OR 6 YEARS OLD, AND CAROLYN WAS CLOSE TO 12 YEARS OLD I THINK). OH MY, HOW TIME HAS SUCH A WAY OF GETTING AWAY FROM US...
PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES FOR YOUR LOSS. BOB WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND I'M SURE A GREAT HUSBAND AND FATHER. I ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT BOB SAID HE HAD TWO THINGS HE LOVED TO DO IN LIFE: FLYING AND FARMING (AND HE WAS DARNED GOOD AT BOTH).
GOD BLESS YOU ALL DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
SINCERELY,
BERNIE ABEYTA

Your family is in my prayers. I hope knowing that he is out of his torment brings you some peace. It is hard to say goodbye in any case.
My wish for you is that with each passing day, you have more and more smiles and laugher remembering his life and your time with him, and less and less tears.

To the Miller's
So sorry to hear of your loss.
Growing up near the family and continuing the friendship with Teri's family will always have great memories. Watching Bob take off near our farm was a sight to behold. He is flying free now and at peace. Hope it comforts you to know that he resides now with God and his parents/family.
My Sympathy to All!
