Nancy Martinez, 67, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Nancy was born on January 22, 1942 and adopted by Eldon and Edna Massey in Iowa City, Iowa.
Nancy was a travel agent and enjoyed traveling around the world and everywhere in between. Nancy loved animals so much and never met an animal that she didn’t like. If it were possible, she would have kept every stray or sick animal that she came across. She loved to spend time with her 8 grandchildren, watching the food network and NFL football on Sundays, and unfortunately she was a long-time Dallas Cowboys Fan.
Nancy is survived by her children, Tim Shelton, Robin Brady, William Brady and Kristin Kuntz; a sister Lucy Mace; and 8 grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Everett Massey.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date and time.

So sorry to read about Nancy. We went to school with her at Johnston School in the 60's. We are scheduled to have our 50th reunion this May, she will be missed. We did have the opportunity to have a nice visit with her a oouple of years ago when she came to a function we had at the Shrine temple in Altoona, Iowa. Our sympathy goes out to all of her family.
