Doris Olson

Doris R. Olson, 83, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital from pneumonia. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Doris was born August 18, 1923 to Leonard and Eva Olson in Des Moines. She was a member of Grand View Lutheran Church, active in her Scandinavian heritage, and enjoyed her cats and other animals. Doris worked almost 50 years at Iowa State Bank, ending her long career as assistant to the Vice President.
Doris is survived by her loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be given to Grand View Lutheran Church or the Animal Rescue League.
