Carol Raye Armstrong, 65, passed away December 31, 2009 at Bright Kavanaugh House.
Carol was born December 17, 1944 in Fort Dodge, IA to Carl and Berniece Pontius. She enjoyed bowling, being a bowling coach for special needs children and baking.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Roger; sisters, Kathy (Greg) Teply and Mary Butrick; brother, Carl (Diane) Pontius; many aunts, uncles and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

I worked with Carol almost 20 years ago and have many great memories of her. I am sorry I just found out about this today was not able to attend the visitation. My thoughts are with the family.
