Robert Fisher

Robert, 70, passed from this life on February 13, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2007 at Hamilton’s Near Highland Memory Gardens 121 N.W. 60th Ave. The graveside committal will be 10:00 am Monday, February 19, 2007 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Robert was born September 14, 1936 to Conrad and Agnes (Kovacevich) Fisher. He received his education at Visitation Grade School and graduated from Dowling High School in 1955. After graduation he became a journeyman for Iowa Power and Light
(now, Mid American Energy). He gave 42 years of service to the company. Robert was
an active member of the I.B.E.W. local 499 and retired in 1998. Bob and Marilyn enjoyed camping at Saylorville Lake and traveling.
Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn of 33 years. His loving children; Tami (Greg)
Torode of Norwalk, Timothy S.(Christina) Fisher of Des Moines, Linda (Lee) Boysen
of Odebolt and Timothy John (Stacy) Fisher of Mitchellville. He also leaves his mother,
Agnes Fisher of Des Moines.His mother and father in law, Evelyn and Wayne McMinemee of Denison. A sister,Sharon Reid of Des Moines; one brother, Ron (Marlene) Fisher of Ankeny. Two sisters in law, Barbara (Stan) DeCosmo of Escondido, CA, and Kathleen Armstrong and her fiance’ Bill Moffitt of Pasadena, CA; one brother in law, Mike (Jena ) McMinemee of Denison. Seven grandchildren
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Fisher and a brother in law, Robert Reid.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston
