Danny Holder

Danny L. Holder, 53, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, with burial in Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Danny was born to Martha Bettencourt and Charles Holder, Sr. on July 21, 1956 in Des Moines. He loved attending BBQs, spending time with family, being outdoors, and meeting new people. He was a friend to everyone he met.

Danny is survived by his mother, Martha Bettencourt; his brother, Charles (Linda) Holder, Jr.; his sister, Kelli (Mike) Smith; his step-mother June Holder; his nieces, Amy Siemer, April Stamper, and Amanda Polito; his nephews, Aaron Holder and Matt Smith; and many great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Holder, Sr.
