Margaret E. Casebolt

Margaret E. Casebolt, 97, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Capitol Hill Christian Church, 3322 E. 25th Street, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Margaret was born June 9, 1912 to Vance and Hazel Wright in Lucas County. She graduated from Russell High School and worked in a one room school house before marrying Kenneth Casebolt. Margaret was a homemaker for most of her life and worked in the cafeteria at Farmer’s Mutual Hail Insurance. She was a long time member of Capitol Hill Christian Church and participated in many activities throughout the years. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering, and sewing.

Margaret is survived by her children, Noel (Vanessa Timmerman) Casebolt Sr. and Mary (Loy) Koehler; grandchildren, Noel (Leslie) Casebolt Jr., Tina (Larry) Lloyd, and Julie (Randy) Cook; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Vance and Hazel Wright; step-mother, Clara Wright; husband, Kenneth Casebolt; sister, Dorothy Fisher; step-brother, Wayne Wright; and three infant children.

Memorial contributions may be given to Capitol Hill Christian Church in her memory.
