Service Details
Renee Malloy, 39, lost a courageous four year battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Her funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 814 School St. in Des Moines, with burial at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.
Renee was born March 28, 1970 to Rosalie and Leslie Schwarz. She worked in the marketing department at Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She loved Jesus; cooking and cleaning, spending time in Chicago; and especially spending time with her family. She was co-owner of House of Leathers with her loving husband, Patrick.
Renee is survived by her husband Patrick; and her wonderful children, Jacob and Elijah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosalie and Leslie; her brother Robert; and her mother and father-in-law Karen and Robert Malloy.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Renee.

Renee had a smile that lit up everything around her.
I was Blessed to know her for a short time,but it
seemed like a life time. But God knows her eternally.
Take your rest Renee,but we will meet again,and you
will have a special place in Heaven already lit up.

To the family of Renee Lynn Malloy,
I heard the news today of Renee's passing and I am so sad and shocked. When I moved to Indianola at the age of 8 years old (32 years ago), Renee was the first real friend I had at Whittier Elementary School and her and I became inseparable for a couple of years. I remember her as one of the funniest, most kind hearted people I have ever met. We had a lot of fun together in our elementary years. I am sorry to say that we lost touch once we got into highschool, but I never forgot her or the fun times we had together!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I hope that you can find comfort in the fact that she imprinted my life with such wonderful memories.

Patrick, Jacob, and Elijah,
Words can't describe the sympathy we have for you in this sad time. Renee was such an amazing women, she was always giving, never asking for anything in return. The fire in her heart for God was enough to brighten even the darkest room. For Jason she was more than just his Aunt, but the mother he never got to have. And for me, the sister I always wished I had! If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to call, we are here for all of you night or day! Dear Patrick, Jacob, and Elijah,
Renee was my account Rep with Blue Cross a few years back. She was one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We often talked about our families and she loved you all very much. God must have a plan to have taken such a beautiful person so soon.
