Steven Ring

Steven Lynn Ring, 58, was born September 21, 1951 to Raymond and Grace Ring in Salina, Kansas. He passed away December 15, 2009 at Bright Kavanagh in Des Moines.

Steven enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially watching Kasey Kahne race in NASCAR. Steven and Julie had just celebrated their 23 wedding anniversary on December 12, 2009.

Steven is survived by his wife Julie Ring; his sons, Steven and John Ring; his brother, Joe Ring; his sisters Patricia Allensworth and Brenda Freilinger; his Father-in-Law Robert Howe; his pets, Molly, Guts and Sarge; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nathalie Culler.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. The family wished to express a thank you to Lutheran Hospital, third floor, ICCU and Bright Kavanagh for the loving care they gave to Steven and the family during his illness.
