To; Bob, Elaine, Jill, Shawn & Amanda-
I know your parents, Shawn and want to say how sorry I am for your loss. I went to church with your parents at the Nazarene Church in Knoxville, IA until I moved away. Sorry this is late but I just found out. I have no wise words to make you feel better but do want all of you to know that I will be praying for you to be comforted during your time of loss.

What a blessing Jordan has been to so many of us, who have been lucky enough to know him. I am going to miss his giggling and smile so much. Everytime I would visit Jordy, he always reached out to grab my hand. I will miss him so much.

Shawn and Amanda, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jordan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. God has called Jordan home and I know he will be deeply missed. We will all miss Jordans contagious smile and laugh. This poem was shared with me before my son passed and I would like to share it with you both.
HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD
A meeting was held quite far from Earth:
"It's time again for another birth."
Said the Angels to the Lord Above,
"This special child will need much love."
His progress may seem very slow,
Accomplishments he may not show
And he'll require extra care
From folks he meets way down there.
He may not run or laugh or play
His thoughts may seem quite far away:
In many ways he isn't adapt
And he'll be known as handicapped.
So let's be careful where he's sent
We want his life to be content.
Please, Lord, find the parents who
Will do a special job for you.
They will not realize right away
The leading role they're asked to play
But with this child sent from above
Comes a stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they'll know the privilege given
In caring for the Gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge,
so meek and mild
Is Heaven's Very Special Child.

Please let me know if I can help in any way. God be with you, Marsha

Amanda & Shawn,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Words can't express how sorry I am for your significant loss. Jordan was a wonderful, expressive guy that I was very previledged to meet. Thank you for sharing him with me.
I have found this wonderful story that I want to share with you...
The Dragonfly
"In the bottom of an old pond lived some grubs who could not understand why none of their group ever came back after crawling up the lily stems to the top of the water. They promised each other that the next one who was called to make the upward climb would return and tell what had happened to him. Soon one of them felt an urgent impulse to seek the surface; he rested himself on the top of a lily pad and went through a glorious transformation which made him a dragonfly with beautiful wings. In vain he tried to keep his promise. Flying back and forth over the pond, he peered down at his friends below. Then he realized that even if they could see him they would not recognize such a radiant creature as one of their number.
The fact that we cannot see our friends or communicate with them after the transformation which we call death is no proof that they cease to exist."

Amanda and Shawn, my deepest sympathies go out to you after the loss of Jordy.
I only met him a couple times at work, but you could tell he enjoyed everything he was able to do. I'm so glad he got to go to the NASCAR events he was able to attend.
This will be a tough period, I know, but do know that he is in God's loving hands now and is so comfortable and can truly be the great kid he was even more freely than here on this stop.
