Janelle Ann Tassin, 77, passed away on August 15, 2023, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Des Moines to William and Gladys (Priebe) Sales on April 28, 1946.

Janelle attended North High School. She married Leroy Tassin on October 21, 1967. Janelle enjoyed gambling, traveling with Leroy and friends. She liked reading. Janelle loved her grandkids, she has two angels waiting to greet her, grandsons, Timmy and Luke.

Janelle is survived by her husband, Leroy; children, Laura (Don) Bailey and Craig (Jodi) Tassin; stepdaughter, Angie (Matt) Buettiner; siblings, Joyce Shoeman and Steven Sales; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys Sales; son, Mike Tassin; daughter-in-law, Lori Tassin; siblings, Sandi Sanford, Bill Sales and Mark Sales.

Private graveside services for family and close friends will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Franklin Township Cemetery, NE Santiago Drive, Bondurant, Iowa
